06 Apr Commercial Construction Completes Construction of Baker View Town Homes Phase II Project
Commercial Construction, LLC along with CL Myles Contracting Company recently completed the construction of 6 new townhomes in the Baker View Town Homes community. To commemorate this milestone, The Baker View Town Homes Phase II Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 9th was attended by Baltimore City officials, Mayor Jack Young and Comptroller Joan Pratt. Also joining the celebration were executives and staff from Druid Heights Community Development Corporation (DHCDC), Commercial Construction and Myles Contracting Co. staff members, community residents, and many other supporters.
Located in the Druid Heights community of West Baltimore, the new townhomes create additional affordable housing for Baltimore City residents. To accelerate the revitalization of the neighborhood, DHCDC and the Baker Street Homeownership Development has completed the construction of 17 housing units, in addition to the 6 new townhomes. DHCDC is on track to complete its goal to build 87 townhomes, transforming the Druid Hill community to make quality living for workforce housing families.
