4 MLK is new construction of an eight-story, 266,000 SF Class A laboratory/office building. It is the newest BioPark facility and is sited as the gateway entrance to the University of Maryland Baltimore BioPark. The facility will offer flexible labs, offices, support space, a two-story convening space, and a conference center – designed to achieve Gold LEED certification. Our scope of work included metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, plaster, specialty ceilings, fabric wall panels, doors & hardware, firestop, rough carpentry, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, and marker boards. The contract was worth $5,200,000.
