Mother Mary Lange Catholic School is new construction of a 65,000 SF, state-of-the-art Pre-K through 8th-grade school for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It is the first Catholic school to be built in Baltimore in over 60 years. It honors the name of Mother Mary Elizabeth Lange, the foundress of both the Oblate Sisters of Providence, the first religious community of women of African descent and the first Catholic school in the United States for African American children.
